Year One is Done!
thank you

On behalf of everyone who was a part of putting on The Midwest Mecca’s first event this past weekend, we thank you for attending!  We will be announcing shortly the date for 2015.  During that time, we would love to hear from everyone what you thought of this event – good and bad!  We had 12 weeks to create the concept and put on the show which is an unheard of accomplishment.   We WILL listen to your thoughts and comments as we want this to be the show that everyone has on their calendar year after year. You can reach us directly at info@midwestmeccaofbarhoppersandhotrods.com and we will get back to you.

Party down next weekend in Ohio, enjoy the week long ride through the south and do it all over again in North Carolina the following weekend. It’s on….ROLL ON! #bttw #justifieddefiance #smokeoutrally#midwestmeccaofbarhoppersandhotrods #midwestmecca #hardcore614 For info call/ text Justin 614-562- 9365 or Jim 614-565-9394. These are going to be short days where we can enjoy the souther states without busting straight through on the interstate slab. Where are we staying every night? To be determined by the seat of our pants…. MONDAY– We’ll leave Big Bone Lick and ride through the eastern part of the Bourbon Trail near Lexington. 150-200 miles then find a place for the night. TUESDAY– The Gateway of The Smokey Mountains, Knoxville TN will be our destination. We’ll take our time and head south from Lexington on the back roads. 200-250 miles this day. WEDNESDAY– Riding around The Smokeys and just plain hanging out will be the plan for the day. The Long Road comes into Del Rio TN and @ledsledcustoms @blacksunshinebrian @boone52 @koeppekustoms and others (will post them as soon as they confirm) into Knoxville that evening. We’ll meet up with either group as both are only […]

“One of a Kind” Car/Bike Show at The Mecca
trophy

The weekend of June 20th and 21st will be unique.  The Midwest Mecca of Bar Hoppers and Hot Rods  at Land of Illusion will be that experience of a lifetime that you won’t want to miss.   Each part of the weekend in Middletown Ohio will be different than you have experienced elsewhere – including the car and bike show. Each bike and hot rod builder has been asked to fabricate two trophies.  They will pick their own “Best Bike” and “Best Car” from their own viewpoint.  And as you can imagine, this will be a little contest between the builders – so expect some killer, off the hook trophies.  No one will mistake these for an old bowling trophy!  These will be “one of a kind” pieces of artwork from guys that are the top of the industry…many of them from O-H-I-O!

Shooter Jennings, Saturday’s Headliner
Shooter Jennings

Shooter Jennings will be releasing two new singles in two days.  When you come to The Midwest Mecca of Bar Hoppers and Hot Rods at the Land of Illusion, you will be one of the first to hear the new singles LIVE! BCR Los Angeles is proud to announce that it will release two digital singles in one day on June 3rd, 2014. Shooter Jennings has been hard at work on two EP’s to be released throughout 2014. One is a tribute to George Jones entitled “Don’t Wait Up (for George)” and the other is a tribute to 70’s electronic music pioneer and producer, Giorgio Moroder, which is titled “Countach (for Giorgio)”. The two singles represent the first taste of both albums. The George single, “Don’t Wait Up (I’m Playin’ Possum)” is a Shooter Jennings original which he wrote for George’s next album, but unfortunately the greatest voice in country music passed away before cutting this final album. Moved by his friendship with Jones, Shooter decided to put out a heartfelt, yet experimental tribute in his honor. “Don’t Wait Up (for George)” the complete EP will be available worldwide in August on CD, 10″ White Vinyl and digital formats, including on our own digital distribution hub, The BCR Bazaar. “Countach (for Giorgio)” will be available worldwide on CD, 10″ White Vinyl and all digital formats in November.
